Image is a big thing at this restaurant opened in 2004 by the father and son team of Luigi and Marco Silvestri. Seasoned by running restaurants in New York, they know a thing or two about pleasing a clientele that wants to see and be seen. Having a sculpted bar and relatively reasonable prices seem to be paramount. Having consistently great food does not appear as important, nor do Tramonti's clientele of admiring regulars seem to require deferential service.
Tramonti
means sunsets in Italian, and we have to take it figuratively at this
popular Delray Beach restaurant since the main view it offers is the
opposite side of Atlantic Avenue. Outdoor tables are prized, though the
restaurant's carefully decorated and subtly lit interior offers a more
stylish image.
